CV - Jack Adams is a Chemical Engineer with 40+ years of LNG ("Liquefied Natural Gas"), Refinery, and Delayed Coker Process, Engineering and Project Development experience. His career began as an LNG Process and startup engineer and developed into various project management, business, expert witness and consulting roles.
Registered as a Professional Engineer in Texas.
Jack holds a Master Degree in Chemical Engineering from Arizona State University and a Bachelor of Science, Engineering Science Degree from Rockhurst College.
LNG Experience includes:
Process Review, P&ID Review, Project Management, HAZOP on LNG Plants (2012 - 2019.)
Design and Startup of LNG plants (1975 - 1979),
Engaged as Process Engineer, Startup Engineer, Project Manager for LNG plants and FLNG.

In 2012, Jack joined Black & Veatch Corp. as Project Manager for LNG projects:
Front End Engineering Design (FEED) and cost estimate for transportation LNG.
Feasibility study for a large barge mounted plant (FLNG) for Australia and various small LNG plants and gas processing facilities.
2014 to 2017 / 2019 - 2020 - Adams engaged as a consultant for a new LNG plant:
Services included review of Process & P&ID's, Equipment, and HAZOP.
In the 1980’s, Adams was employed as Manager of Project Development and Project Manager for Koch Industries, developing and managing 26+ refinery projects, targeting increased capacity and efficiency. Projects included Delayed Coker revamps, a CCR reformer, hydrotreating.
Jack joined Clark Refining & Marketing in 1992 as Assets Manager. He led the technical evaluation for Clark’s acquisition of the Port Arthur refinery.
Since 1995, Adams has continued as Refinery and Coker Consultant.
